Dear Ones:
Today let’s recognize the sacrifices others have made to allow us to know freedom and safety. While we know war is not the answer to the issues of peoples or nations, let us bless our veterans who have endured bloodshed and war. Today, let’s open our hearts to those who give their time and courage so everyone can take one step closer to peace. When our fears subside, wars will cease.
Let’s offer a prayer for those who are presently suffering and know darkness, who suffer from the consequences of war, and who need healing:
God, give us the courage to meet misfortune with resolute hearts, and grant us patience when resolution does not come quickly. Through life’s experiences, we know we will grow stronger and wiser. We trust that all is unfolding according to your Divine plan. In our present conflicts, protect all who stand in harm’s way. Let us know that the only truth is Love, and because of Love, I affirm wholeness and peace for all people. Let us all know your comfort, strength, and humanity’s Oneness as we hold the entire world in our hearts.
