My Guiding Principles

I believe everything on earth is a reflection of what is inside our heads and hearts. The challenge is to put our divine nature to work with ideas that serve the greater good. When we fully embrace our true self, we allow spirit to work through us! Consequently, our consciousness is uplifted and we build a better, balanced world.

To facilitate the good works arising from human hands, we also need a big dose of grace. Grace is about re-establishing your natural connection with the divine presence which is at work in our daily lives. Without an acknowledgement of grace, there can be no change, no miracles or healings. Worldwide, it is being circulated through the oneness blessing, or deeksha, which is the transfer of energy that helps us awaken into a state of causeless love and limitless joy. It is a place where only life in the present moment matters and suffering is released. A blessing is interfaith, available to everyone, and answers our heart’s deepest longing which is to be loved unconditionally.

Consciousness and Spiritual Awakenings

During the last 10 years, I’ve been encouraging people to have a conscious connection with life. To be conscious means to be awake and committed to a life path of self-discovery and self-actualization. A spiritual awakening happens when we realize our true state of being which is Spirit. Many wisdom traditions point out that we are not the body.  Our true essence is a higher level of awareness to the potential that resides within each of us.  It’s a spark of the Divine that is endless, loving, and everywhere at once.

Both East and West can be spiritually unified. Many people desire inter-spiritual and inter-mystical religious practices and cross-religious sharing of the wisdom inherent in the Gospels, the Nag Hammadi texts, the Bhagavad Gita, and the Upanishads. This knowledge belongs to all humanity and the more we make an effort to appreciate the treasures of each tradition, we find more ways to have direct contact with the Divine presence. I now integrate Eastern teachings into my own Christian programs and writing and offer deeksha, a healing experience designed to put us in touch with the kingdom within.

Unity and Prayer

I believe we must celebrate our diversity while acknowledging we are one in Spirit. There are five basic Unity principles that can help us realize the Presence within:

1. There is only one Presence and one Power active as the universe and as my life, God the Good.
2. Our essence is of God; therefore, we are inherently good. This God essence, called the Christ, was fully expressed in Jesus.
3. We are co-creators with God, creating reality through thoughts held in mind.
4. Through prayer and meditation, we align our heart-mind with God. Denials and affirmations are tools we use.
5. Through thoughts, words and actions, we live the Truth we know.

Currently, I am connecting people and passing the grace. Technology has made the world a more intimate place for us to be a supportive community and I make certain grace flows through all of it – in our e newsletters, blog, audio programs, and in our live events. I’m a conduit for grace and I’d love to meet each of you to share this amazing gift.
